What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Liaison position at Freeman Health Partners?
Primary Responsibilities and Duties include the following:
1. Identify new partnerships and opportunities that will increase inbound referrals.
2. Find new avenues of increasing Freeman’s presence in the community through outreach efforts and building strategic partnerships in the community.
3. Manage and collaborate with Freeman staff to resolve referral source concerns or issues during the referral, admissions, and treatment process.
4. Elevate any concerns to Director of BD.
5. Clearly communicate the progress of any internal program changes, new addition of programs, criteria for admissions, etc. as needed to referral sources.
6. Update electronic databases and reports related to referral sources.
7. Responsible for being the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with referral sources.
8. Call within the same business day once an account’s admission arrives at our facility to let them know of the successful transfer.
9. Pull referral reports to determine where more intentional follow up is needed if referral numbers decrease.
10. Attend weekly staff meetings.
11. Track key account metrics (i.e. When referrals are low, complaints of our facility, referral to conversion rates, logging all contacts in CRM and all inbound and outbound referral in CRM for data analysis)
12. Attend networking and business development events.
13. Key contact between clinical (case management, medical, and business development teams)
14. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or registered nurse preferred.
2. Knowledge of substance abuse/addiction issues or related work experience required.
3. Ability to establish and maintain therapeutic boundaries required.
4. Understanding and Knowledge of HIPAA
5. High school diploma required.
6. Computer proficient in (word, excel, power point, etc.)

7 Ability to exercise good judgment and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form.
