What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi-Unit Press Operator position at Freeport Press?
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the Press Operator must possess experience on Komori 38" or Manroland Lithoman, proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and general knowledge of English, and basic math functions as related to press operations. Additionally, they must be able to troubleshoot and solve print-related problems, work cooperatively with the crew, and provide technical and safety instructions/training to junior crew members.
The successful candidate must also demonstrate good interpersonal skills, exhibit enhanced listening skills, and have the ability to recognize when both positive and negative reinforcement is warranted for safe/unsafe behavior. Furthermore, they must be willing to work overtime as required based upon production and customer demands.
Physical demands include standing continually with frequent bending, squatting, climbing, reaching and pulling.
