What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Specialist position at FREER TOOL & DIE INC?
Must know how to navigate and do searches for many different part numbers on the web, using Google, etc
Duties:
Quoting MRO buys for various companies, doing pricing calculations, outsourcing and follow up.
Requirements:
Must have a strong background in purchasing and buying.
Must have some basic knowledge of how to read a basic 2D blueprint.
Must know how to issue purchase orders, and quotes via the sap system.
Must have basic knowledge of E-commerce, such as credit cards and PayPal.
Must be willing to learn our inventory system, to search for parts already in stock.
Knowing SAP system is a plus, but not necessary.
Computer literacy is required, with at least 5 years of experience in excel, and all its functions.
