Job Position : Purchasing Specialist Company : Har-Tru, LLC Location : Troy, VA Are you a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a knack for procurement and supplier management? Join our dynamic Purchasing team as a Purchasing Specialist! In this role, you will manage the procurement process, source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services to support our operations. Responsibilities :
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies.
- Issue purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Plan for future needs utilizing historical data as well as sales forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Review supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Resolve vendor issues and discrepancies in a timely manner. Qualifications :
- Ability to work independently, problem solve, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- Experience using ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing and inventory management is a plus.
