As Facilities Energy Services lead, you will use your technical skills to execute and deliver projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Develop and manage strategy to expand Freese and Nichols' services in the market.
- Support development, refinement, and implementation of the annual business plan for clients, programs, projects, and conferences.
- Provide leadership in obtaining and developing clients each year in connection with our strategy and annual planned targets.
- Develop high-value client relationships, while representing Freese and Nichols with clients and teaming partners.
- Talent Development and Growth:
- Attract, select, and develop new talent.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Client and Project Management:
- Oversee and manage energy services project delivery, including system assessments, energy audits, commissioning, monitoring, and verification.
- Develop and implement energy efficiency strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in energy services, resiliency and sustainability.
- Lead the development and implementation of energy efficiency strategies and commissioning processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
- 20 years of experience in delivering energy services products and energy efficiency projects.
- Strong leadership and business development skills.
- Effective communication and people skills.
- Certification in energy management or commissioning (e.g., CEM, CCP) is a plus.
