Mission Critical Facilities International, a Mission Critical Group Company, is hiring a Director of Connected Services. The Director of Connected Services is responsible for the foundation, execution and growth of MCFI's professional and connected services business including project management, system design, field installation support, system testing and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities :
Lead the growth of Connected Services by creating, proposing and selling Electrical Power Monitoring and related control systems services, and support additional business development and project execution opportunities in Mission Critical Group products and offerings. (Year 1 Bookings Goal $5M)
Role will require complete customer, program, project ownership of applications ranging from $50K to $10M, including activity planning, scheduling, technical reviews, time management of resources, purchasing, invoicing, change order management and financial success of the execution
Leadership and overall responsibility for the execution of activities required for project delivery excellence, including technical, financial and commercial aspects of Professional and Connected Services projects
At times, acts in a direct execution role, acting as the primary customer interface, responsible for project technical, schedule and cost baselines.
Responsible for financial negotiations with the customer involving proposals, estimates and quotations, change orders and change directives.
Establish and be responsible for achieving an annual project revenue and gross margin delivered target for the assigned major customer relationship(s) including maintaining a specified "as bid" margin level(s) and labor to buyout bookings mix
Coordinate with internal engineering and technical field personnel and third-party suppliers in the implementation of Electrical Power Delivery, Equipment, and Modular systems in a wide variety of applications for a customer(s) at multiple locations.
Collaborate with multiple internal departments, including Sales, Solution Development, Engineering, Manufacturing / Production, and Service, as well as similar third-party suppliers, to deliver superior solutions and ensure total customer satisfaction and profitability.
Support the Project Delivery Organization in Subcontractor selection and management required
This position will require travel as necessary for job responsibilities.
Required Experience / Knowledge :
BSEE or BSME Engineering degree or equivalent practical work experience (electrical, mechanical, Industrial controls, trades) or educational background
Minimum of 15 years in industry, with 10 years in a supervisory role.
Expertise in technical disciplines (electrical, mechanical, controls)
Understanding of Percentage of Completion (POC) Accounting (Earned Revenue) based financials.
Expertise in Risk Management and Mitigation Practices
Budget and Expense Management expertise required.

Think consequentially in all aspects of the major customer relationship including the ability to identify issues whether commercial, technical, or schedule related before they occur.
Present project activity and financial updates on projects / applications to large audience of customers and / or associates.
