Days: Monday Thru Friday
Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Salary: $19-$21/Hr

Position Purpose:
The primary purpose of the IT Specialist is to assist FreeStar Financial Credit Union in fulfilling our mission to positively impact the lives of our members, team members, and community through making meaningful connections and progressive financial solutions.
The most essential function of this position is to follow the detailed and standardized procedures in performing routine information technology operations while ensuring compliance of all activities as outlined.
What You'll Do In This Role:
An IT Specialist performs maintenance of credit union software applications.
Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, DHCP, DNS and WINS protocols and other information technology.
An IT Specialist has working knowledge of Windows 2012/2016 and VMware server applications.
An IT Specialist has working knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2019
Work with branch staff on basic software, hardware and troubleshooting needs.
Work with and assist membership with Online Banking issues.
Maintain a clean and clutter-free server room at all locations.
Assist in maintaining a full inventory of all PC's, servers and printers in Information Technology.
Assist in network server, PC, virus protection and service pack upgrades.
Work in conjunction with third party vendors as required.
Troubleshoot personal computer and application issues as needed.
Review and respond to all Information Technology emails as applicable.
An IT Specialist will monitor Helpdesk ticketing system and respond as applicable.
Assist with phone system management.
What You'll Bring To FreeStar Financial:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years of similar or related experience in the IT industry preferred.
Two years' experience in network administration, server maintenance and control preferred.
