Job Location: Sterling Heights/St. Clair Shores
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000/annually
Days: Monday Thru Friday w/ occasional Saturdays (2 days remote)
Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Benefits:

Position Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Loan Servicing Manager is to assist FreeStar Financial Credit Union in fulfilling our mission to positively impact the lives of our members, team members, and community through meaningful connections and progressive financial solutions.
This is done by developing the Loan Servicing team while maintaining all documentation and serving our members. Oversight of compliance and record maintenance with all regulatory agencies is vital in protecting the assets of the Credit Union.
What You'll Do In This Role:
A Loan Servicing Manager supervises Loan Servicing and all its responsibilities.
Analyze lending functions to use technology in all areas and make necessary suggestions for improvement is essential for a Loan Servicing Manager.
Monitor the adding and refunding of collateral protection, credit life and disability, and GAP. File claims when needed.
A Loan Sales Manager prepares monthly board reports.
Investigate and correct discrepancies and credit bureau reports including the updating of E-Oscar as needed
Maintain all lending files and procedures for compliance.
A Loan Servicing Manager oversees the processing of loan applications to ensure department standards are met.
Review and follow up on all loan exceptions.
Any other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring To FreeStar Financial:
High School Diploma or some college preferred.
Minimum of five year of similar or related experience in the financial industry.
Must have knowledge of various federal regulations and the responsibilities relating to each act of the following:
Right to Financial Privacy Act
Regulation E (EFTS)
Regulation CC (Funds Availability)
Regulation ZZ (Truth in Lending)
Truth in Savings Act
Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act)
