Core Responsibilities:
- Test, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Inform the Service Advisor of additional services needed, providing labor, time and parts estimates for repair.
- Perform work specified on the repair order per dealership processes.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform quality control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete.
- Thoroughly document vehicle inspection findings and recommended repairs.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience performing vehicle inspections, diagnostics and repairs required.
- GM certifications are required; ASE certifications a plus.
- Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicle drivability systems.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Demonstrates thorough workmanship with excellent attention to detail.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Hours and Work Environment:
We offer a Monday – Friday work schedule with hours ranging from 7am – 6pm. Our technicians enjoy a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned shop and a company culture that promotes professional growth.
