International Operations Specialist

This role is open to anyone with 5 years experience within international operations. A background in both air & ocean operations is preferred, alongside 3-5 years CargoWise experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a group of assigned customers, from file inception to final delivery.
• Open Operational files in Cargo Wise.
• Maintain all E-Documentation in Cargo Wise.
• Follow and adhere to the prescribed Workflow process for each shipment.
• Communicate and update customers daily on shipment progress.
• Evaluate and review any exceptions, work with team to create solutions and communicate with customers.
• Communicate with all vendors, carriers, truckers, Customs Broker and all third parties, to facilitate a seamless flow for every shipment.
• Invoice and complete billing for every shipment and send in a timely manner to customers.
• Hold vendors accountable for service execution and accurate pricing.
• Proactively review gross profit on every file, for accuracy and any opportunity to improve.
• Deal with all exceptions such as demurrage, storage, per diem, to ensure that charges are valid and correct.
• Obtain all back up information timely and notify customer are additional charges.
• Mitigate and negotiate additional charges down where possible.
• Check daily tracking through Company tracking tools and provide regular updates to customers.
• Upsell all PBL’s modes and services to our customers on a regular basis.
