Description Major Duties and Responsibilities
Freightliner of Maine Inc (FOM) is looking to grow. We are looking for a well organized and great communicator to work in our Bangor location as a warranty administrator. Candidate must be detail orientated and able to handle multiple tasks at once. This job is fast paced and has multiple duties to keep the candidate engaged in the job, leading to a more exciting work day!
Responsibilities include
Code, file, document and follow up on warranty claims for Freightliner and Western Star trucks. This includes working on claims for multiple locations.
Code warranty credits for proper application to accounts.
Reconciling warranty accounts.
Register new extended coverages for all OEM's that FOM represents. Those include Freightliner, Western Star, Detroit, Cummins, CAT, Eaton, Meritor.
Customer and warranty billing where needed.
Keeping track of needed OEM recalls for customer accounts in spreadsheet.
Ordering and making sure service has an adequate supply of inspection DOT stickers.
Hours are 7 am - 4 pm Monday to Friday.
Job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications.
Work with current warranty administrator to learn the process and work with the shop foreman, service manager, and technicians.
Certifications Required
* Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Vocational or technical training in heavy duty equipment, preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 42 per week
