Technology Student Intern
Location : Central Office
Reports to : Information Technology Director
Supervises : None

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Interest in the technology, computer science, machine learning / AI, or networking field(s)
- Working knowledge of Google productivity tools (drive, docs, sheets, etc...)
- Basic understanding of how computers work
- Ability to work alone for short periods of time
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to seek out solution independently
- Ability to empathize with end users as they seek help or report problems
- 2 Letters of Recommendation, one from a Teacher, and the second one fron any other person
- Resume required to be uploaded

POSITION SUMMARY
The position of the district IT Intern is to assist the Technology team with providing the students and staff of the district with a technological environment which supports student academic achievement, while gaining skills and knowledge which will provide him / her with a blended educational experience. The knowledge gained during the internship will provide the intern with the skill set needed to seamlessly move into a professional career in the IT industry
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
Possesses strong oral and written communication skills
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies and regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence.

SALARY SCHEDULE
This position will be paid according to the approved Temporary Salary Schedule.
