What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant position at Fremont County Sheriff's Office?
Basic front desk receptionist duties, to include answering phones, typing, and scheduling. In addition, the front desk receptionist will need to work with the sex offender registry, VIN checks, concealed carry permits, scan inmate mail, take the public’s fingerprints, and other office duties as assigned. Further, the receptionist will be required to keep public and inmate records confidential.
Applicants must have a professional appearance and demeanor and possess the ability to work with the public in a calm manner. The front desk receptionist reports directly to the Jail Administrator.
Minimum qualification includes a high school diploma, ability to pass a background check, pass a psychological evaluation, and clerical computer and phone skills.
