Job Overview
Lead Case Manager needed to serve as head of Case Manager team at Raper Armory. Case Managers play a vital role in the Non-Clinical Case Management Team by ensuring that WYARNG service members maintain medical readiness for deployment and mission requirements. This position is responsible for tracking and managing soldier medical records and interfacing with medical databases. Case Managers directly assists service members by reviewing, correcting, and updating their medical documentation, coordinating Physical Health Assessments (PHAs), and working closely with military leadership to maintain compliance with Army and DoD medical readiness directives.
Qualifications
- Education: Preferred Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience in medical records and administration.
- Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of experience in military medical case management or data entry and minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of medical records management, Medial Readiness Classification (MRC) correction and analysis, and medical board completion processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing a caseload and leading a team.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
- Full-time, 40 hours a week
- One weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday)
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract personnel.
- Ensure contract performance is accomplished and manage the non-clinical case management team.
- Possess the expertise to provide oversight, tracking and administrative support in non-clinical case management planning and analysis, medical records management and analysis, MRC correction and analysis, PHA event planning and analysis, medical board completion and analysis, patient risk analysis and health service support to the Wyoming Army National Guard.
- Manage medical case load in addition to managerial duties
- Enter and update medical data in appropriate databases: MEDPROS, MODS, MEDCHART, and PRT.
- Ensure accuracy of service members' medical documentation.
- Track and coordinate Physical Health Assessments; Soldiers Treatment Records, and medical board cases.
- Monitor and update soldier medical readiness status.
- Assist in documenting and tracking deployment readiness requirements.
- Administrative duties include: Data entry; Scanning, filing, and tracking digital and hard-copy records; logging contacts; initiating, processing and tracking cases.
