Key Tasks
- Be the voice of ATC controllers inside our team.
- Own the human computer design.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including FAA, to gather and document requirements.
- Translate operational requirements into technical detailed requirement documents, functional specifications, and system design descriptions.
- Ensure all requirements are clearly defined, documented, and agreed upon by all relevant parties.
- Analyze and interpret complex technical specifications and regulatory standards to ensure compliance and integration with FAA systems.
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external suppliers, e.g., from the areas of documentation, test department, and software/product development across the Frequentis Group.
- Conduct acceptance tests with the customers, the project team, and other important stakeholders.
- You bring a learning mindset, investigate, and apply innovative technologies or methodologies to improve project outcomes, efficiency, or sustainability.
- Adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Enjoy working with Air Traffic Controllers and other ATC stakeholders.
- Prior domain knowledge required (e.g., former ATC controller).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in similar role.
- Experience in requirements engineering.
- Experience in User Interface/Human-Computer Interface design.
