Construction Superintendent

The position of Superintendent is responsible for providing proactive control of Frerichs job sites and will communicate closely with the Project
Manager to assure high quality projects are delivered on time.

Job responsibilities include:
- Ensure that projects are built to plans and specs, on time and in budget, while maintaining
Frerichs quality standards.
- Implement safety policies on jobsite to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Complete safety paperwork accurately and on-time: JHA toolbox talks, etc.
- Write and track request for information (RFIs).
- Complete daily site documentation.
- Manage overall project schedules to assure timely completion.
- Keep a clean and organized job site, including building, grounds, trailers and equipment.
- Review and understands scope of work and can direct subs to adhere accordingly.
- Conduct progress meetings.
- Communicate daily with Project Manager.
- Work with architect and engineers directly to resolve issues and questions.
Qualifications include:
- Carpentry experience – 5 years, and ability to perform carpentry tasks, required.
- Superintendent experience – 5 years, required.
- Leadership experience – 5 years, preferred.
- Multifamily wood frame experience, preferred.
- Experience with management software, preferred.
- Have knowledge and experience using various construction equipment, required.
- Ability to read blueprints, required.
- Microsoft Office Suite and project experience, required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidate must maintain the highest quality of workmanship; possess a strong work ethic and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record. All candidates must pass a mandatory drug screen before starting employment.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
