About the Role
The HVAC Service and Maintenance Team Leader will oversee a team of technicians responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing commercial HVAC equipment and accessories. This individual will supervise daily work, ensure adequate staffing, assist with unusual assignments, train employees, and promote safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, demonstrating strong safety skills to all team members.
- Collaborate with the Safety Management Team to mentor field employees and foster a culture of safety.
- Monitor upcoming work to optimize technician scheduling and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise installations, retrofits, and large-scale projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess technician performance, provide training, and reinforce company values.
- Assist technicians with complex assignments and conduct quality-control reviews to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Train employees on technical skills, company processes, and safety protocols.
- Promote excellent customer service and strive for exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Ensure proper vehicle maintenance, tool management, and administrative tasks are completed.
- Demonstrate leadership in customer focus, company policies, safety practices, and initiative implementation.
- Support sales staff with technical questions about products and services.
