Job Summary
e currently have an opportunity for a Summer 2025 Intern to join our Project Management Team.
Responsibilities
The project Intern will gain hands-on experience with tools and lean-sigma methodology to contribute to continuous improvement projects in a cross-functional, matrix environment.
- Time studies : Observation and time data collection on manufacturing lines by equipment and product / format. Evaluation of time study data to recommend changes needed to create line balance and gain efficiencies.
- 5S : including conducting audits with operators and supervision and creating "Action Plans" for items identified during the audits.
- 8 wastes : Partnership with area management to incorporate recommended actions and improvements (example : downtime trending, material recycling process implementation, inventory management)
- Digitalization : Using principles of operational excellence to apply digital processes to production (example : electronic records, OEE tool implementation, KPI reporting
