Warehouse Operator II (1st Shift)

Salary Range: $18.00 to $22.00 Per Hour

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, abilities and working shift.

The Warehouse Operator Level 2 is responsible for the accurate picking of orders of material for production and packaging. These orders include tasks generated by production, packaging, and ERP or MES systems. The wrapping, movement, labelling, and storage of semi-finished and finished product from production and packaging is also a primary duty.
The operator is responsible for the routine replenishment and kitting of production parts into Vertical Lift Modules, pallet racking or other put away locations. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventories by performing cycle counting in support of continuous inventory cycle count program. Responsible for accurately utilizing ERP and MES systems to perform all necessary transactions in support of production and Warehouse Management operations. The operator is expected to be comfortable performing various transactions in the ERP or MES system using both a handheld RF device and PC. The Warehouse Operator II is also required to perform the day-to-day duties of a Warehouse Operator I as business dictates.
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager, and maintains contact with Warehouse Group Leader, other warehouse Operators, and personnel from various other departments during the regular course of duties.

• Pick and deliver orders of material originating from production and packaging.
• Move, wrap, label, and store pallets of semi-finished product from production areas.
• Move, wrap, label, and store pallets of finished product from packaging areas for shipment
• Participates in the unloading of all incoming vendor deliveries, observing and documenting any discrepancies or damage, assists with the sorting of raw materials
• Ship small packages, LTL shipments via FedEx and other carriers
• Process returns from production and packaging.
• Utilize company box truck to transport , components, semi-finished product, finished product, etc. to and from various buildings on site as needed
• Utilizes various forms of powered and manual equipment to assist in the storage and transportation of palletized material. Maintains said equipment according to the preventative maintenance program and reports issues/concerns immediately. Reports any and all damaged or otherwise inoperative equipment immediately for repair.
• Perform various transactions in ERP and MES system
• Participates in all company training and consistently completes all training requirements by use of the company’s computer-based training program.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Perform all duties of Operator I as required

• High school diploma/GED required.
• One year of warehouse experience required; including experience with powered industrial equipment, and SAP (or similar Warehouse Management system).
• Medical Device or other regulated industry experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations with the use of a calculator or computer is required.
