Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Machine set-up and operation
- Perform initial programming and set-up of machine for standard orders. Requires selecting appropriate tooling to complete the job.
- Continual operation of machine in an efficient manner. Performing tool and pad corrections and machine adjustments as needed to achieve the desired results.
- Communicate problems with senior technician, engineering, and supervisor.
- Handles optics with care. Takes precautions to protect optics during handling and measuring.
- Completed parts must meet or exceed specifications.
- Quality and / or quantity must equal or exceed departmental goals.
- Maintains machine during and after operations.
