About the Role
Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a skilled Hemodialysis Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our outpatient dialysis team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct ongoing education and training sessions for patients and their families to promote self-care and empowerment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures that align with our organizational goals.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess a degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Must hold a current RN license and CPR certification.
- A minimum of 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in nephrology nursing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
