Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented New Graduate Nursing Specialist to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse while working towards obtaining your nursing license.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and experience working in a hospital setting or a related facility. You will be required to obtain your nursing license within 90 days of employment and maintain any required credentials or certifications necessary for your position in an active and valid status.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vascular access evaluations pre-treatment and perform cannulation as needed.
- Evaluate intradialytic problems and provide intervention as prescribed by physician order or as directed.
- Monitor patients' response to dialysis therapy and document information related to treatment.
- Maintain environmental integrity and aesthetics, ensuring all areas are safe and clean.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle demanding situations with ease.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation and Benefits
