As a Catering Delivery Driver, you will ensure that each delivery meets our high standards and provides our clients with peace of mind knowing their order is timely, accurate, and hassle-free. You will also contribute to our business by identifying and passing on potential sales leads, maintaining clean and well-stocked vehicles, and fostering positive relationships with our team.
Major Responsibilities:
- Order Preparation: Collaborate with operations staff to double-check and pack orders accurately into the delivery vehicle.
- Efficient Delivery: Follow the designated delivery schedule to ensure that all orders are delivered in the correct sequence and on time.
- Service Excellence: Adhere to the Fresh City Kitchen Sequence of Service, ensuring each delivery meets our standards for quality and presentation.
- Issue Resolution: Communicate any delivery issues promptly to Customer Service to resolve them effectively.
- Positive Attitude: Project a friendly, hospitality-driven demeanor that reflects well on Fresh City Kitchen and enhances the client experience.
- Respect and Teamwork: Show respect for all employees and work collaboratively to achieve company goals.
Qualifications:
- Driver’s License: Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the greater Boston area to navigate efficiently.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and able to read and understand delivery instructions.
- Technical Skills: Ability to use map applications and other navigational tools.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle deliveries in a fast-paced environment.
