About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Laundromat Manager to join our growing team. In this key role, you will oversee all aspects of our laundry operations, including team management, financial oversight, and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence:
- Supervise and train laundry attendants on all aspects of the laundry process: sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing. Train our drivers how to use FC Admin software and to employ safe and defensive driving habits. Keep teammates accountable to standard and lead from the front with your work ethic!
- Ensure efficient and timely order fulfillment, meeting customer deadlines. Thrive on attention to detail, and have foresight in your leadership.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations (OSHA).
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, hire, and train new team members.
- Motivate and inspire your team to achieve high performance levels.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Address employee concerns and resolve any workplace issues promptly.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee all financial aspects of the laundry operation, including invoicing, accounts receivable, and expense tracking.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
- Business Development:
- Explore new business opportunities and expand customer base.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and community partners.
- Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Be comfortable on the phone even with unhappy customers.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and brainstorm and implement methods to show customers we appreciate them.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Laundromat Manager or in a similar supervisory role (preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Experience with accounting software (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand on hard flooring and walk for extended periods.
- Clean driving record.
