What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter position at Fresh Coat Painting LLC?
Locally owned company established in 2009
Now hiring residential interior painters. Steady and consistent work primarily Mon-Fri but some weekends occasionally. Extremely little downtime between jobs if any at all. Off on all major holidays. Job sites vary all over the coast from Pascagoula to Waveland
No short or part time positions available. We are looking for long term candidates to build a long-term relationship with. We work at a very fast pace and have an extremely organized schedule with must meet deadlines.
Requirements are as follows:
Experience in all aspects of interior painting, familiar with all processes and techniques of interior painting, have personal hand tools (brushes, 5in1, knife, caulk gun) and personal transportation. Will need a valid ID at hiring.
Needs to be dependable, self-sufficient, able to carry a professional appearance, have good communication skills, able to bend. kneel, stoop, squat, climb ladders, carry up to 80 lbs, work clean, neat and efficiently while producing quality work with excellent customer service to our clients.
Preferred but not required at time of hiring:
Whites
Knowledge of small to large drywall repairs
Wall and ceiling textures
Compensation varies by the job which averages between $18-$33 per hour based on experience, efficiency and quality of work produced.

Pay: $18.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
