What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Management Sr. Analyst position at Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc?
This position is supporting Sales, and Product Management group with their daily administrative responsibilities. The associate will analyze, and review purchase orders, sales orders, and invoices related to sourcing, packing and delivering product to the different Del Monte Distribution Centers; manage inventory materials at the DC level and supplier location.
Accountabilities:
Sales- Review Weekly/Monthly demand plan
Make suggestions on volume based on supply plans
Sales- Communication with Sales & Transportation to secure loads
Communication with DM Facilities on order confirmation
Constant communication with our border consolidation facilities in both McAllen and Nogales.
Manage DC inventories in the system for all locations
Inventory management, Allocation & Distribution. (At Consolidation point and DC’s)
Ensure product quality and shelf life within our DC’s and other locations
Sales- Product Cost / Facility Incurred Cost. Determine Grower
Send POs to the growers
Advance payments and liquidations (All growers
Review Client Invoices before approving for payment, based on agreed cost (All growers)
Process Invoices for payment once product is received and cleared (All growers)
Manage Grower Contracts ending dates and renewals
Assist with grower liquidations
Work with logistics on offshore programs
Coordination with Growers on delivery times to consolidation points
Communicate to the growers any quality issues, request USDA Inspect
If protection granted make sure PO is on Hold with notes in the system Mexico
Make sure all costs are accurate
Coordination with replenishment analyst in delivery times to consolidation points.
Communicate any quality issues, request USDA Inspect
Coordination with custom brokers (Colombia, Guatemala, Peru, Chile)
Review quality inspections on inbound product to the DM DCs
Set up transfers between facilities (Direct from grower facility to DM or Client / Mex)
Set up transfers between facilities (Grower to the DC without Consolidation Point)
Allocation of product based on Inventories
Shipping product through the system Mexico
Allocating product on transfers Mexico
Coordinate and assist the Del Monte facilities on credits due to quality, short orders, etc.
Follow up on purchase orders to make sure the product will be on schedule at the time of loading.
Assist on communication with Del Monte’s transportation department.
Required:
4-year Degree (Business or related field), from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2-3+ years of experience on managing supply chain
Bilingual– English and Spanish
Must be available to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days on-site and 1 day remote
Experience with EDI software
Strong proficiency in Excel
Understanding of sales/sourcing performance metrics
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes within a company
Organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills
