What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation Supervisor position at Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc?
Purpose of Position :
This position will be responsible for the overall supervision and implementation of the location’s sanitation program. In this role, will also work closely with management to ensure timely resolution of issues, and compliance with company and statutory regulations.
Accountabilities :
- Manage and oversee the location's sanitation crew and supplies.
- Implement and maintain Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's), based on corporate guidelines and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager and / or Maintenance Manager, to resolve Quality Assurance issues, and to oversee management of preventative maintenance programs.
- Handle the management of, and employee training for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), procedures and personnel safety.
- Communicate with chemical supplier and ensure proper chemical types and rates are used.
- Member of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) team.
- Special projects as assigned.
