What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Financial Planning and Analysis Manager position at Fresh Del Monte?
Purpose of Position:
This position will be responsible for short and long-term planning and financial analysis of global business operations.
Accountabilities:
- Subject matter expert and manages and oversees the Company’s consolidation and FP&A software, Planful, which includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Regular maintenance activities, data integrity checks, system updates, user access management, back-up and recovery
- Oversight and governance, system performance monitoring, process standardization, compliance and security
- Optimizing Planful usage and leveraging available tools to improve user experience
- Maintain documentation for users and auditors
- Direct contact and liaison between Planful Support Team
- Consolidates and monitors Company-wide Demand Plan which includes the following:
- Maintenance and review of the Global S&D / Source and Distribution Volume in Planful
- Data collection and integration, demand and supply volumes tracking and monitoring
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaboration across departments for alignment: Sales & Operations and Production
- Preparation of necessary reports and dashboards for executive reporting
- Business Partner to Global FP&A teams
- Preparation of FP&A financial reports (monthly, quarterly and annual) for periodic distribution to senior leadership highlighting financial performances and key metrics
- Reviews existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
- Provides analysis and answers to audit inquiries from external auditors
- Keenly focused on timeliness and accuracy of reporting
- Develops other team members aimed at elevating performance
- Prepare financial results and analysis to CFO on a periodic basis as requested by supervisor
- Assist with various ad-hoc finance projects.
Minimum Skills Required:
- 4-year College Degree (Finance) from an accredited institution.
- Proficient or Expert in the use and administration of a consolidation or FP&A system software / platform. Experience in using Planful is an advantage.
- Proficient or Expert in Power BI
- Proficient of Microsoft Office Programs - Advanced user of Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and business acumen. IT-related experience or background is an advantage.
- Excellent organization, analytical, and communication (i.e. oral and written) skills.
- Works with a sense of urgency and unwavering focus on accuracy.
- Analyzes qualitative and quantitative data in a detailed, thorough manner.
- Focuses on underlying problems as opposed to symptoms to identify long-term solutions to problems. Evaluates various alternatives and their implications prior to recommending a solution.

- Exemplifies self-leadership to achieve professional goals and objectives.
- 4-7 years of experience including public companies.
