Position Summary
The HR Generalist supports the HR Manager with the day-to-day functional responsibilities for the Grand Prairie Facility. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, recruitment of exempt and non-exempt positions, compensation, organizational development, and Workday Personnel transactions.
Position Functions
Responsible for overseeing the entire recruitment process. This position has indirect responsibility for the non-exempt recruiting process which includes sourcing, screening, recruiting, on-boarding, and AAP compliance
Responsible for employee relations programs for the facility
Provides management team support by attending business meetings and assisting with the resolution of business challenges and process improvement
Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action
Ensure New Hire Onboarding and 90 day New Hire Review is completed with employees Grade H and below
Responsible for ensuring compliance with the overall pre-employment I-9, E-verify, E-Screen and Background Check compliance process
Conduct monthly internal audits of I-9s and audits functions that directly report to him/her including but not limited to E-verify, ER log, pre-employment, AAP, and other required processes
Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Perform other duties as assigned
Position Skills & Qualifications Desired

Computer literate (MS Office: Excel, Word and Power Point)
Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Thorough knowledge of employment law
Must possess a high degree of cultural awareness and sensitivity
Strong communication/interpersonal skills
Position Experience Qualifications
Minimum three years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop culture change
HR processes, policy, and procedure development and implementation skills
Position Education & Training Preferred
BA/BS degree in related field or equivalent experience
