What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation Lead 3rd Shift position at Fresh Express?
Shift Hours : 10pm to 7am
The Sanitation Lead will assist the sanitation supervisor in directing and coordinating the daily activities of the sanitation crew. The Sanitation Lead will oversee the operational task of cleaning and sanitizing of facility's processing equipment. The Sanitation Lead will ensure compliance to Fresh Express Food Safety and Sanitation Standards. The Sanitation Lead must understand sanitation requirements relating to the 7 steps of effective sanitation.
Job Function Statements - Essential Functions :
- Help enforce Good Manufacturing Practices among employees.
- Performs visual inspection on equipment in multiple locations in the facility
- Communicate effectively and update the team with inspection information as necessary
- Properly use chemicals and titrations.
- Complete daily sanitation check-off list and daily titration record logs.
- Instructing and leading other employees to clean efficiently.
- Responsible for crew assignments.
- Promotes objectives and initiatives of the company to the employees.
- Support the QA department during the daily pre op inspections.
- Responds to sanitary needs of production as at when needed.
