Job Overview
Fresh TX’s HR Associate must be comfortable performing a wide variety of tasks that require exceptional organizational skills and detail orientation. The ability and willingness to meet deadlines and work as part of a team are essential functions of this position in addition to providing high-quality customer service to our employees, both current and prospective. Our ideal candidate is someone who sees challenges as adventurous opportunities and learning experiences.
Responsibilities & Duties
The HR Associate’s tasks include, but are not limited to:
· Employee Support, Engagement, and Communications
o Field employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and payroll
o Support and promote our culture and engagement efforts
o Communicate information, data, and policies to a wide variety of internal audiences
o Perform administrative tasks, such as maintain spreadsheets, medical and personnel records, and answer emails, texts, and the phone
· Recruitment and Orientation
o Assist the HR Generalist and Coordinator in the full-cycle recruitment process from scheduling interviews, interviewing, checking references, and coordinating new hire onboarding and orientation
o Assist in orientation such as helping new hires login to the payroll system, scan I-9 documents, enter biometrics into the timeclocks, and create badges
· Data Entry, Data Analysis, and Database Management
o Process employee changes across multiple systems
o Run reports to collect and report data to support our other departments in addition to Human Resources
· Compliance and Operations
o Routinely review and stay current on HR regulations, news, and best practices
o Assist the HR Generalist and Coordinator in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
o Handle requests for employee verifications over the phone and in writing
o Collaborate closely with other departments within Fresh TX
o Other corporate, administrative, or plant tasks as needed

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree OR High School Diploma in combination with 2 years of experience in corporate, administrative, and/or Human Resources functions
- Bilingual
· Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneDrive
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Detail oriented, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to think both critically and creatively while managing multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions and compliance
· Previous experience, or working proficiency with Paycom
