Are you hard working, detail-driven, and ready to tackle challenges head-on? At our Canton, Ohio facility, we're in search of dedicated individuals to become key players in our Industrial Maintenance Mechanics team, focusing on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage starts at $30
- Additional shift differential of $1.50
- Earn a $200 bonus for referring candidates for the 2nd and 3rd shifts
Core Responsibilities
In this role, you'll ensure our production runs smoothly by maintaining machinery and equipment. Your key tasks will include:
- Executing preventative maintenance on various tools and machines by following detailed guidelines and troubleshooting when necessary
- Diagnosing operational issues using precision instruments and proactive inspections
- Taking corrective action on malfunctioning parts through dismantling and analysis
- Conducting detailed measurements to assess part wear and guiding necessary adjustments
- Minimizing downtime by equipping production staff with maintenance knowledge
- Creating repair parts using advanced machine shop tools
- Ensuring safety and cleanliness in your working environment
- Collaborating effectively with the team to meet and exceed goals
- Working comfortably in a temperature-controlled setting
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting (up to 40 lbs), bending, standing, climbing, or walking
- Experience with a range of manual and mechanical tools
- Competence in handling chemicals per established safety guidelines
