Fulfillment Associate

Reports to:

Fulfillment Manager

Summary:

Under the direction, of the Fulfillment Manager the employee will perform warehouse functions and ensures efficiency & compliance of all warehouse duties and responsibilities. Other duties may apply. 

All employees are responsible to follow all of Nutrition Corp. protocols of Food Safety.

Essential Duties:

· Gathering orders, labeling and shipping to customers

• Ensure appropriate packing materials are used in packaging (ice packs, liners, boxes, etc.)

· Consistently helping staff by taking out their trash, break down and their boxes, operate baler machine, sweep around working areas, squeegee flooded areas

· Assist kitchen with all janitorial duties

· Clean and restock work area prior to shift start

· Familiarize with the different brands and box sizes

· Control inventory and advise manager when running low

· Open box stacks prior to starting to ensure a smoother workflow

· Fold liner paper according to box sizes

· Prepare all tools and supplies needed when starting a new box size or brand

· Ensure all boxes come out of the tape machine completely taped

· Inspect the quality of the boxes when working to ensure no rips or tears are present

· Report any issues with the tape machine or any other tools

· Use dolly’s and hand jacks correctly and safely

· Work efficiently with the flow of the team

• Complete knowledge of all processes and operations in the packaging area with an      ability to work with current and new staff
• Prep items for shipping in a safe and efficient manner following all safe food handling      protocol
• Maintain a      sanitary and organized work environment including kitchen, reach-in, and      walk-ins; ensure that all items are being FIFOed properly
• Record daily      product inventories and replenish items as needed

· Complete logs, cleaning checklist, and side work

· Transport picked and packed items to awaiting

· Ensure that they are properly and safely loaded onto delivery trucks

· Other duties as assigned

PAY: $17.00 Per/Hour

Supervisor Responsibility: 

None

Work Environment:

While performing the Fulfillment Associate’s duties, the employee will work in a warehouse cold environment refrigerator temperature (35 - 40 degrees F).

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand, crawl, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach.  Lift/push and pull up to 50 lbs. Work in cold/hot environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Standard days and schedules are usually Sunday-Saturday.

Days and hours are subject to change depending on Company needs.

High School Diploma/G.E. D/Equivalence
