Description
In this position, a level 1 tech will be producing and printing labels to be placed on freshly made sealed meals. This person will set up the label for printing, ensure the job is running properly, and check quality throughout the run.
Essential Duties:
• Operates the label machines properly and efficiently to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule on Bartender/NiceLabel Program (Printing Software)
• Uses Microsoft system (Excel and Word) to log each print job accurately and correctly to record materials for each job.
• Minimizes waste or misuse of raw materials.
• Communicates label production issues with the Production Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Maintains operable machines and handles maintenance with the department.
• Keeps an accurate log of raw materials used in the production of labels.
• Verifies correct information is printed correctly on labels every time labels are changed or updated.
• Keeps all work areas safe, clean and in good condition.
• Follows any other instructions given by supervisors and/or management to complete other tasks or projects, ensuring the objectives are accomplished accurately and within the timeframe allotted.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year job related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience of:
Basic computer & Microsoft Office Programs skills
Tech 1 is responsible for operating machines at budgeted waste using set production numbers while ensuring that safety and quality procedures are followed.
Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter and have the demonstrated ability to prioritize while maintaining high levels of organization, productivity, and versatility.
Must also possess a sense of urgency, positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
Work Environment:
While performing duties, the employee will work in an office setting.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee regularly sits, stands, and moves for long periods of time, frequent use of hands, long periods of noise from printer machinery, lift 5-10 pounds occasionally. Ability to read and write is a must.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Standard days and schedules are usually Sunday-Saturday.
Days and hours are subject to change depending on Company needs. This role is required for all 3 shifts (AM, PM, 3rd)
