What we need :
Our Senior Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing large scale programs, accounts or series of projects across a portfolio. They may manage programs individually or oversee a program with constituent Project Managers who are responsible to the Senior PM for the execution of specific workstreams. The Senior Program Manager is accountable for ensuring Fresh delivers to our clients the agreed upon scope in a timely manner, on-budget and at the highest levels of quality. This position works closely with other leaders at Fresh to ensure that the right level of oversight and guidance are in place to support successful delivery of our engagements.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the management of large-scale programs, guiding other project managers and team leads to deliver success
- Manage the complete lifecycle of a program or project ensuring it completes on-scope, on-time and on-budget
- Ensure project scope expectations, goals and objectives are clear, and internal and external stakeholders are in alignment at the outset of a project
- Establish clear roles and responsibilities for internal and client stakeholders to ensure accountability and alignment of work tasks; address responsibility gaps as they arise
- Implement effective escalation processes to ensure high-quality delivery, address concerns, remove obstacles, and provide transparent and productive communication
- Establish clear and enforceable governance and change order processes with clients
- Define, create and manage detailed project plans and scrum cycles, promoting efficiency and team velocity, and monitoring performance via tools and proven techniques
- Establish strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment, and agreement; understand and advocate for client needs
- Collaborate with team leads to determine solutions to mitigate risks and resolve issues, communicate blockers and actions needed from clients; seek broader leadership input as needed
- Communicate executive-level summaries to internal and external leadership to gain buy-in, support and approval for critical issues
- Drive communications with our internally and externally via weekly status meetings to report on progress, key milestone reviews and ad-hoc meetings and escalations as needed
- Lead meetings with clients and internal teams, establishing and communicating clear agendas and facilitating conversations to achieve objectives and reach decisions; summarize and track action items
- Ensure delivery aligns with goals, objectives, and client expectations, equipping teams for success; seek opportunities for improvement to generate project efficiencies and increase velocity
- Review client feedback and partner with project leads to provide clear guidance to teams for implementation
- Create and distribute weekly project status reports to document the overall health of ongoing programs and projects, including progress on budget, scope changes, risks and mitigation plans, and decisions logs
- Partner with the Business Development team and other leaders to enhance and further client relationships and overall account strategy
- Participate in pursuits creating accurate estimates for proposals, renewals, extensions, and change requests, ensuring clearly articulated scope and assumptions
- Draft SOWs and change requests and partner with BD and other leaders to ensure scope, assumptions, and terms are clearly articulated
- Manage and mentor other project managers within the context of large-scale programs
- Contribute to and advance the use of project management best practices, methodologies, and tools in collaboration with other PMs
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate resource bookings for financial forecasting

For a Washington-State-based role, the base salary hiring range for this position is $125,000 to $160,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
