Hourly Pay Rate: $23.94/hr. plus a $3.00 shift differential

As a Shipping and Receiving operator you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, order picking, stretch-wrapping pallets, packing, palletizing, and shipping and receiving.

What You Will Do
As a Shipping and Receiving operator you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, order picking, stretch-wrapping pallets, packing, palletizing, and shipping and receiving.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Responsible for control of inbound and outbound materials/ingredients/products
- Enters information and resolves discrepancies in computerized Warehouse Management system relating to raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished goods.
- Notifies Maintenance when problems arise, or other work needs to be done on forklifts, docks, doors, or other areas of the plant.
- Transports, stages, and rotates product in coolers/freezers.
- Maintains warehouse storage facility. Stores items in correct locations and keeps area free of debris.
- Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and HACCP food safety plan guidelines.
- Communicates with operators from other shifts regarding daily shipping/receiving tasks.
- Assures food safety standards with regards to GMPs and HACCP plan are being followed by self and fellow employees.
- Maintains a professional, courteous manner with all visitors, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
- Follows established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years shipping/receiving/warehousing experience
- Clean driving record of safe operation of all types of powered industrial trucks
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
- Food manufacturing experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
