What You Will Do

Freshpet requires an accomplished Training Admin Assistant with a wide range of experience. Experience that is recognized by the training department's customers as an approachable style, with the ability to manage concerns / issues, excellent listening skills, diffusing escalated issues, work with the business to understand training needs and following through to resolution. This person must be organized and professional, build strong working relationships with team members, recognized for applying strong creative, administrative, and communication skills while managing multiple assignments simultaneously.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Administers, scores, and logs results of qualification, learning assessment, and retention tests; arranges retraining or other appropriate action for insufficient scores.
  • Plan, organize, and administer the activities of the Training group efficiently.
  • Assesses training materials prepared by instructors.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Recommend continuous education that complements their area of responsibility.
  • Collect and interpret data, analyze results, report results back to the team.
  • Evaluates existing or proposed programs; suggests and implements suitable changes.
  • Collaborates with outside consultants and training providers to deliver training
  • Facilitates delivery of training by reserving and setting up needed audiovisual equipment and training rooms; scheduling training times with attendees; preparing and distributing training aids such as handouts; and performing other related tasks.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring

  • Maintained training records
  • Proven experience as an administrator, assistant, or similar role
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing - food industry preferred
  • Training Within Industry - Job Instruction knowledge a plus
  • Essential Knowledge, Skills and Training

  • Proficient in MS Office - Excel in particular
  • Working knowledge of databases and LMS a plus
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
  • Solid verbal and written communications skills
  • Comfortable with public speaking
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset
  • Work Environment and Time Requirements

  • Ability to work in a cold environment when required
  • Ability to work off shifts when required
  • Education Requirements

  • Associates or bachelor's degree in social science, management or business a plus
