Position Summary
We are seeking a Supply Chain Operations Associate to join our team at Freshpoint. In this role, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inspecting and verifying incoming shipments to ensure quality and quantity meet company standards.
- Organizing and prioritizing inventory to maximize storage space and minimize losses.
- Operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move products around the facility.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports of inventory movements and discrepancies.
- Providing excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Six months experience in a warehouse or related field preferred.
Desirable Skills
- Basic knowledge of fresh produce handling and storage.
- Experience operating stand-up forklifts and riding pallet jacks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment
- Regularly works in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.
