Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for training of new hires and/or temporary Associates
- Owns execution of SOPs and holds Associates accountable; escalates discrepancies to Supervisor when necessary
- Owns the safety of the team, ensures that all Associates are in a safe working environment 100% of the time
- By owning the team’s quality standards, ensure that we send out a quality product to our customers
- Assist Supervisor with development of the team and assist with training of critical roles.
- Motivate and challenge the team to achieve and exceed daily performance goals
- Engage and show respect to associates on a daily basis. Build team morale to drive productivity and quality standards
Skills and Requirements:
- Clear and concise communicator, verbal and written
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Flexible availability; we work night and weekend shifts
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as required
- 1-2 years of entry-level managerial leadership experience in a food production or warehouse environment
