We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper / Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office at Freska Foods. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing office tasks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Duties & Responsibilities
Office Management & Administration:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions, contracts, and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and improve operational workflows.
- Order office supplies and manage office expenses.
Bookkeeping & Accounting:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Perform account reconciliation, including journal entries, debits, and credits.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and governmental accounting standards in all financial activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Process payroll in coordination with our payroll service provider.
- Work closely with external accountants to support tax preparation and financial reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or Bookkeeper in an accounting or finance-focused environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
