Competitive Gymnastics Coach

Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and lead gymnastics practices for our growing competition teams (Xcel Bronze-Sapphire and DP 4-10)- 5 work days per week (plus weekend travel for competition season).
- Teach in a hands on fashion with proper techniques, progressions and skills in gymnastics, including tumbling, dance, balance beam, vault, and uneven bars
- Create a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and grow
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback to help students improve their gymnastics abilities
- Long term planning and vision for growing the competitive program and building the mission of Fresno Gymnastics Center
- Ensure the gym equipment is set up properly and maintained in a safe condition. Ability to lift and move equipment safely.
- Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress and any concerns or achievements

Experience:
- Previous experience coaching competitive gymnastics teams (minimum 5 years)
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and other staff members
- Passion for gymnastics and a desire to inspire and motivate young athletes
- CPR and First Aid certification is desirable
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screenings

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 – 40 per week
