What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Freudenberg?
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility for recruiting hourly staff, onboarding and payroll support
- Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
- Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
- Support HR Manager/Director in recruiting/compensation/talent/development projects.
- Assists with employee appreciation and community service events.
- Help support all people initiatives and practices including recruitment, talent, leadership development, diversity, performance management, organizational design, compensation, etc
- Lead and/or assist in the coordination of career fairs and special projects involving campus military, diversity recruitment, etc.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in HR, Business Administration, Labor Relations or similar
- 2-4 years of experience working as an HR generalist
- Knowledge of HR Information Systems HRIS such as Workday and payroll systems such as ADP
- Experience in recruiting, payroll and/or benefits administration
- Understanding of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations
- Highly proficient with MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- High integrity and professionalism
- Solution Oriented thinking – excellent problem solving skills
- Clear communication - both verbal and written
- Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Other duties as assigned
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
