Qualifications :
Required Education and Experience :
B.S. with 5 years of relevant work experience in industry or academia
M.S. with 3 years of relevant work experience
Ph.D. with 1-2 years of relevant work experience
Required Skills :
Experience in immunohistochemistry and multiplexed immunofluorescence assay development
Proficiency with digital image analysis software and spatial imaging platforms such as HALO, Visiopharm, QuPath, digital slide scanning, multiplex spectral imaging, Akoya Polaris, Phenocycler / Fusion
Strong organizational abilities and communication skills
Preferred Skills :
Background in histology / microanatomy, oncology, and / or immunology
Programming skills in Python, MATLAB for imaging applications
Experience with version control environments (e.g., Git)
Familiarity with high-performance Linux clusters and cloud computing
Experience with client-server and cloud computing infrastructure
Responsibilities :
Validate and quality-check analysis readouts on multiplexed immunofluorescence images
Perform image preprocessing tasks, including metadata extraction, output quality control, and secure data transfer to cloud storage
Evaluate and implement new algorithms for image analysis, such as cell segmentation, tissue classification, and cell phenotyping
Facilitate smooth collaboration between teams by transferring data and image-related information
Coordinate with IT to :
Gather and document user feedback on image analysis workflows and tools
Address pain points, define requirements, and improve tool functionality
Conduct user experience testing and optimize tools for production use
Maintain and update image analysis computers for optimal performance
Define and document requirements for new tools and ensure successful deployment
Provide administrative support, including reagent ordering, capital equipment purchasing, and SOP documentation for image processing and analysis workflows
Interact effectively with scientists, computer scientists, and IT staff
Note : This is a 100% onsite, lab-based role with the possibility of extension.
