Due to company growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic Recruiter with a positive attitude and energy to help attract and hire top talent to our tax accounting and administrative support teams. The ideal candidate is a people-oriented professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills who excels at connecting the best candidates to the right career opportunities. You will also assist with HR generalist projects.


This is a full-time, hybrid role in our Frankfort, IL office (minimum 2 days), which will regularly interact with all levels of staff. A supreme level of integrity, trust, and commitment to confidentiality and diplomacy is essential.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Recruitment Duties (70%)

  • Review job details and prepare postings for all open positions within the firm.
  • In coordination with hiring manager, determine recruitment strategy including pre-screening questions and advertising, to provide diverse applicant pool.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using social media, job boards, networking, and online tools.
  • Provide initial screening of applicant pools and conduct phone screens/interviews to identify top tier talent.
  • Assess applicant knowledge, skills, and experience to determine best suit to open positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers; schedule and facilitate all onsite, phone and video interviews through the entire recruiting cycle.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Provide timely updates and clear communication to candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop pipeline of talent, specifically for frequently filled positions as well as hard to fill locations.
  • Assist with in-person recruitment of tax interns through college visits, promoting the firm and building relationships with both students and faculty.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and identify innovative recruiting strategies to attract active and passive job seekers, researching new ways of using internet as recruiting tool.


HR / Administrative Duties (30%)

  • Conduct pre-employment onboarding including facilitation of background checks and payroll entry.
  • Support new hire orientation to ensure smooth transition to employment.
  • Ensure new employees are loaded into relevant system software and maintained throughout employment.
  • Maintenance of employee records as needed.
  • Provide general HR support to employees including policy/process clarification.
  • Gather and analyze data regarding benefit and compensation best practices.
  • Update job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Assist with HR projects throughout the year including updates of policies/procedures, yearly review process, benefits open enrollment, health/wellness initiatives, among others.
  • Perform additional HR generalist duties as needed and assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preferred degrees include Human Resources and/or Business Administration
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience conducting full life-cycle recruiting
  • Experience sourcing top talent through multiple creative channels
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in Professional Services industry a strong plus
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with employees, candidates and outside resources at all levels
  • Knowledge of hiring best practices and employment laws
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to deliver results
  • Willingness to travel locally as required
