Job Summary Friendly Automotive is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor. As an Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our valued customers. You will be responsible for understanding customer’s service needs and working with the technicians to provide an excellent customer experience while keeping their vehicle in great operating condition.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended repair and maintenance services to keep the customer’s vehicle in as “like new” condition as possible.
- Prepare and present accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance based on customer requests, technician diagnostics, and routine vehicle inspections.
- Coordinate with technicians to set accurate customer expectations and allow for high quality work to be performed in an efficient manner.
- Processing customer payments while keeping accurate records.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure compliance with all industry standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and services to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar role is preferred.
- Experience in service sales is desirable.
- Familiarity with automotive estimating and service information software platforms.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
