- Organize unit, communicate with nurses, CNAs, MD, NP, and PAs to ensure consistent positive outcomes
- Ensure smooth workflow
- Keep and organize records
- Recruit and train nurses and other health professionals/work with staff developement nurse
- Work on skilled unit, case management, and weekly insurance reviews
- Improve the quality and efficiency of the level of care by working with management staff and QI
- Work with residents and family members to ensure top care
- Job includes on-call rotation
