Description
Friends' Central School is seeking enthusiastic individuals for seasonal employment at our Trailblazer Camp in Wynnewood, PA. The camp, which serves children ages 7-12, runs from June 23rd to August 8th, with hours from 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM.

Essential Job Functions:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, providing leadership, actively participating in camp activities, and ensuring the safety, development, growth, and skill advancement of campers in your group. The ideal candidate will be motivated, hardworking, adaptable, eager to learn, proactive, and possess a sense of humor.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate specialized activities within your area of expertise (e.g., sports, technology, etc.)
- Develop and implement engaging activities that align with camp goals and themes
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers during sessions
- Promote skill development and personal growth
- Maintain a positive and inclusive environment that fosters learning and fun
- Assist in setting up, organizing, and cleaning specialty areas before and after each activity
- Support camp-wide events and special days as needed (e.g., assemblies, themed days, spirit time)
- Serve as a role model for campers by demonstrating professionalism, responsibility, and respect.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Prior teaching, coaching, and/or camp experience is strongly encouraged. Head counselors must be over 21 years of age.
Education: Bachelor's degree and experience with classroom students/campers are a plus.
All head counselors receive two free camp tuitions for their children to attend one of our day camps. (Tenderfoot is for ages 3-6, Trailblazer is for ages 7-12, or Basketball, Reading, and Math)
