Friends for Life (FFL), Denver Metro Area, is looking for an On-Call Scheduler to join our Non-Medical Home Care Team! This position is PERFECT for someone who wants to work from home, earn extra money without a full-time commitment, and maintain flexibility around their day-to-day life while being a part of an awesome team that cares for Seniors through the Denver area!
Our On-Call Scheduler works remotely with once-monthly in-office team meetings and is responsible for upholding FFL's Mission & Vision by maintaining Client schedules outside of office hours. This position will support the Care Team by working to staff open shifts, respond to scheduling emergencies, and ensure coverage for all Client shifts to promote quality of care. The On-Call Scheduler will monitor daily shifts outside of office hours for timely clock in/out, and communicate schedule changes to the Care Team, Client, and/or families.
Schedule:
- Remote Work: The level of activity varies as this is an On-Call role. The role involves answering and responding to emergent calls, scheduling shift coverage, and monitoring schedule notifications.
- The On-Call schedule is outside of office hours, and covers the following days/times:
- Monday 5:00 pm to 9:00 am
- Tuesday 5:00 pm to 9:00 am
- Wednesday 5:00 pm to 9:00 am
- Thursday 5:00 pm to 9:00 am
- Weekends: Friday 5:00 pm through Monday 9:00 am
- Schedule Options:
- Three weeks on with one week off OR
- Weekly Wednesday through Monday (weeknights Wed/Thur, Friday 5 pm-Monday 9 am)
- Anticipated active hours vary, but can be approximately 5-15 hours per week
- Active Hours are when you take calls, follow up on notifications, and are actively working on scheduling shift coverage or communicating with staff.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in FFL Care Team Meetings at 8:30 am (weekdays)
- Monitoring of caregiver shift notifications to ensure timely clock in/out according to client expectation
- Promptly respond to/problem-solve situations involving scheduling conflicts, emergencies, and/or call-offs
- Communicate with clients, families, representatives, and caregivers regarding schedule changes, care needs, emergencies, etc. (Phone & Email)
- Thorough documentation of conversations, and necessary follow-up via our Wellsky PC system
- Communicate with the Office Team when appropriate to help resolve emergent Client issues after hours
- Upholds and enforces company policies and procedures
- Promotes FFL's Mission & Vision through respectful, efficient communication
Salary:
- $275 / per week
- $75.00 monthly Home Internet Stipend
- Bi-weekly pay
Requirements
- Lives in the Denver-Metro area
- Remote work within your home office setting or preferred location within your home
- Available after hours and on weekends to answer emergency calls and handle scheduling issues that arise
- Reliable Home Internet connection (monthly stipend to assist in covering cost)
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
- Competent knowledge of use of computers and smartphones
- Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to become proficient in our specialized scheduling software (Wellsky PC)
