Key Responsibilities
Administrative and Office Support
- Manage the organization’s email inbox and respond promptly to inquiries.
- Organize and maintain digital files using Google Nonprofit Workspace for effective collaboration.
- Coordinate meetings as needed, distribute materials, and take minutes.
- Assist with action items and projects as requested by the executive director
- Provide essential support across various committees
Donation and Database Management
- Process donations, make deposits, and manage donor database (Network for Good/Bonterra) for tracking of contributions.
- Prepare reports on donor activity for the executive director and board.
Communications and Donor Engagement
- Distribute donor acknowledgment letters and thank-you cards for volunteers and supporters.
- Collaborate with board committees to collect stories and draft monthly newsletters.
- Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts.
- Assist with USPS mailings and email campaigns.
Program, Event, and Volunteer Coordination
- Assist with event planning, logistics, and attendee communication.
- Manage auction entries, databases, and on-site event support.
- Maintain accurate records and coordinate schedules.
- Recruit, coordinate, and communicate with volunteers.
- Support volunteer recognition efforts through events, cards, and marketing channels.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Exceptional organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work remotely and in-person with effective time management.
Preferred:
- Experience in administrative support, coordination, or similar roles.
- Experience with mail merges for mailings.
- Familiarity with donor management and event software (Bonterra/Network for Good, OneCause).

Working Conditions
- Partly remote position with a reliable internet connection.
- Flexible schedule, approximately 20 hours per week, with occasional evening or weekend availability for meetings or events.
