POSITION SUMMARY :

FIDF is currently seeking a full-time Tri-State Young Leadership Associate who will report to the Associate Director, Tri-State Young Leadership and the National Young Leadership Director, being a key member of the dynamic, professional, and fast-paced National Young Leadership team. The Young Leadership Campaign focuses on engaging and fundraising within a core demographic of young professionals, ages 21-40, with a focus on creating impactful events, building relationships, and developing a pipeline of lay leadership talent.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of people, local Tri-State area demographics, and community dynamics. You have a broad range of interests, solid technical aptitude, and an eagerness to contribute and grow. You have a can-do attitude, a customer-service approach, and enjoy working collaboratively.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

  • Event Support : Assist with the logistics and execution for committee meetings, parlor meetings, Shabbat dinners, and large-scale parties, including venue arrangements, catering, registration, and materials
  • Communications : Manage local donor communications, respond to inquiries, and execute chapter e- blasts / newsletters.
  • Board Collaboration : Support Board members with donor cultivation and stewardship.
  • Meeting Coordination : Organize staff meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action items.
  • Donor Stewardship : Cultivate and retain Young Leadership donors while growing the donor base.
  • Fundraising Campaigns : Create and manage peer-to-peer campaigns and pipeline reports to support chapter growth.
  • Database Management : Maintain accurate donor records, contributions, and engagement history. Leverage the CRM platform to provide timely updates to the Chapter Associate Director and Board members.
  • Additional Duties : Assist with events, campaigns, and other tasks as needed.
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in event planning, fundraising, or community building, especially large-scale events.
  • Knowledge of Tri-State young professionals supporting Israel and the IDF mission.
  • Passion for the FIDF mission.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Results-driven with innovative problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident, persuasive, and able to inspire action.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM tools (Raiser’s Edge preferred).
  • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally to Israel; evening and weekend availability required.
